In the lead-up to 404 Dublin, we partnered with Aer Lingus and Tech/Life Ireland to fly three lucky winners from London to attend the inaugural 404 event.
This morning we collected London-based techies, Alex Ware, Alex Frere and Matthew Gilbert off their flight from Heathrow for a whistle-stop tour around Dublin’s top tech HQs.
First stop on the tech tour was Hangar 6 at Aer Lingus where we got to check out not only their tech hub, but some of their planes too!
Then it was straight into Dublin City Centre, for a look around Version 1’s awesome offices just off the Millennium Archway. Those guys are spoiled with that kick-ass view of Dublin’s skyline.
Next stop was a tour of Pivotal and Dogpatch Labs over in the CHQ Building, followed by lunch with a presentation from Sarah Leahy, Community Manager at the Office of the Dublin Commissioner for Startups.
The Dock at Accenture, in the heart of Silicon Docks didn’t disappoint, where we got to try out the latest in tech gadgetry. Finally, we absolutely LOVED CarTrawler’s offices over at their base in Dundrum.
That’s the end of the tour for today, but it’ll be full steam ahead tomorrow at 404! Have you got your ticket yet? Get your tickets here!
